I know, it’s like 2025 just started and here I am already talking about senior photos! If you are a senior, CONGRATULATIONS! I remember when I was a senior and did not know who to book for those highly-anticipated senior photos. I’m so glad you found my blog, and I hope this article is helpful for you.
How far in advance do I need to book my senior photos?
I recommend booking your senior portrait session at least 3-6 months before graduation. That way you’ll be able to get yearbook photos and graduation announcements out in time. Late spring/early summer is a great season for capturing this big milestone.
Not graduating just yet? It’s very common to do your senior photos as a junior, so if you want fall grad pics (or just like to be ahead of the game!) we can get your senior portraits done a year early.
How long does a session take?
Most senior sessions take 1-2 hours depending on how many outfits you need to change into. Ladies, I recommend adding extra time for hair and makeup. Come to your session with your hair and makeup already done. Once we’ve taken your pictures, I’ll get to work editing them so you have an amazing, curated collection to choose from for announcements, gifts, and yearbook photos.
Where can I get my photos done?
We can do your senior portraits outdoors at parks, on school grounds, or your in home/backyard. I also offer indoor options at multiple locations around Houston. You’re welcome to bring props, a school uniform, or a graduation cap–whatever will help make it personal and unique to you!
